About Us

The Markham District Baseball Association offers recreational and competitive baseball for boys and girls, 5 to 21 years old, from T-Ball to Junior levels in House League, Select League and Rep League. The MDBA is a member of York-Simcoe Baseball Association, Select Ontario Baseball Association (SOBA) and Baseball Ontario (OBA).

Full uniforms (T-Ball: T-shirt and hat only), as well as team photos, are provided as part of the fee to all registered players. The season runs from mid-May till early September.

Programs Offered:

House League: Recreational baseball for players of all skill levels. Culminates in season playoffs and championship weekend in early September.

Select League: Competitive baseball for skilled players (tryouts required). Select teams compete within York and South Durham areas against other SOBA (Select Ontario Baseball Association) member teams and in Select Tournaments. Teams compete to represent York Region in the SOBA Provincial Tournament.

Rep League: Competitive baseball for elite players (tryouts required). Rep teams compete against other YSBA Baseball Ontario Rep Teams and in Rep Tournaments. Teams compete to represent York Region in the Baseball Ontario Provincial Championship Tournament.
